Epidemics the dynamics of infectious diseases answers

Epidemics: the dynamics of infectious diseases Course Week 1 Answers. (100% Correct)

Coursera Answers, Epidemics Answers

 Course Overview:

This course titled Epidemics - the Dynamics of Infectious Disease, was designed to be
a fun and engaging way for you to learn about a topic that significantly impacts our lives.
Whether you realize it or not, you are exposed to a variety of pathogens, the agents that
cause many diseases, as you go about your day. This course will help you understand the
many different forms these pathogens can take and how they can be transferred from
person to person. Although these pathogens can wreak havoc on our lives by making us
sick, our bodies have extensive processes in place to combat these invaders and to help us
heal from the infections they cause. As you progress through the modules you will also
learn about preventative actions (such as vaccines) and other control mechanisms we can
implement to limit the impact of the pathogens on our society. Ultimately, we aim to give
you the tools to understand how epidemics unfold, and how they can best be controlled.
